Baabad meets Mukalla Model Secondary School students participating in the English Language Olympiad competition in Jordan
The Director of the Office of the Ministry of Education on Hadhramaut's coast, Mr. Amin Abdullah Baabad, met with our country’s national team of Mukalla Model Secondary School students participating in the English Language Olympiad competition in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which won the second-best project in the social media axis within problem-solving and scientific research presentation.
Mr. Baabad praised our country's participating team of Mukalla Model Secondary School students, who won this achievement among more than 130 schools from 17 Arab and European countries, expressing his happiness and blessing to the team for the success of the participation.
Director Baabad also appreciated the efforts of Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development, represented by the Executive General Manager of the Foundation, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, the Department of General Education, the Department of Partnerships and International Cooperation, and the Administration of Mukalla Model Secondary School, which provided the appropriate environment in the process of preparation for the team’s readiness to participate abroad.
Moreover, the director of Mukalla Model Secondary School, Mr. Nasser Bin Sheikh Abu Bakr, and the team coach, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hamidi, reviewed the stages of the team's training, which included the establishment of a summer camp for two months in which the team was trained on the contents of the project in which they are going to participate. The students also expressed their thanks to the leadership of the Ministry of Education office for its interest and to Hadhramout Foundation.
Furthermore, the meeting was attended by Mr. Alawi Ahmed Al-Hamid, Deputy Director, Head of the Training and Qualification Division, Mr. Anwar Faraj Abdel-Daem, Head of the General Education Division in the office, Mr. Abdul Hafez Al-Yahri, Director of the Media Department in the office, Mr. Fahmy bin Huwail, Head of the Technical Office of the English Language Subject, and the assistant principal of the Secondary School, Mr. Salem Bagkhif.
