Hadhramout Foundation Funds Agreement to Equip the Information Center and Network Laboratory at Seiyun University
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Kathiri, President of Seiyun University, witnessed the signing ceremony of an agreement to equip the university’s Information Center and Network Laboratory, funded by Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development and implemented by Natco Information Technology Ltd.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the funding party by Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, Executive General Manager of the Foundation, and on behalf of the implementing party by Eng. Mohammed Al-Maqbali, Branch Manager of Natco – Hadhramout.
The agreement aims to supply, install, operate, and train university staff on the use of equipment for the Information Center and Network Laboratory, in addition to providing maintenance services for one year. This initiative comes within the framework of the Seiyun University Development Project, designed to equip students and staff with technical and professional skills aligned with labor market demands.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Kathiri praised the efforts of Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development in supporting the education sector, describing the Chairman of the Board of Founders, Eng. Abdullah Bugshan, as “a pioneer of human development in the nation.” He highlighted the Foundation’s distinguished role in strengthening the university’s infrastructure and developing its academic staff, including the sponsorship of faculty members to pursue postgraduate studies.
For his part, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher emphasized the commitment of the Chairman of the Board of Founders, Eng. Abdullah Bugshan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Eng. Ahmed Bashaweih, and all board members to achieving this agreement, with the goal of enabling the university’s graduates to actively integrate into the labor market. He commended the professionalism of the university’s administration and its swift response to such initiatives, adding: “This laboratory and information center will represent a qualitative addition to the university, serving not only students but also enhancing research activities and elevating the university’s academic standing.”
Meanwhile, Eng. Mohammed Al-Maqbali underscored the importance of this step in supporting Seiyun University, affirming his company’s commitment to delivering a model project that meets the highest standards, with high quality and within record time.
It is noteworthy that this agreement comes within the framework of the Seiyun University Development Project, funded by Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development.
