Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development signed a contract to implement a professional course in the field of car denting and painting within the 11th edition of Life is Work Program in partnership with the Office of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Hadhramout Valley and Desert. The contract was signed on Monday Sep. 12th 2022 at the Foundation's headquarters in Mukalla.
The Director of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Department, Eng. Abdullah Muhairi, signed on behalf of the Foundation, while the Office of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Valley and the Desert was represented by the Director of Seiyun Industrial Vocational Institute, Mr. Anis Qumsi.
The contract agreement stated that the training will target 20 young beneficiaries during 80 training hours, at a rate of 4 hours per day, during a period of 20 days from the start of the training, stressing on the fact that the training will be conducted by a group of distinguished trainers in their specialties.
On the sidelines of the signing of the contract, the Executive General Manager of Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development, Eng. Tareq Ali Balkhasher, mentioned that based on the Foundation's developmental background, it aims to develop the scientific and practical energies of young people in various areas of life. Therefore, the Foundation took the lead through vocational training by implementing the Life is Work Program, which contains specialized courses that contribute to providing the unemployed with professional skills and ensure proper guidance for their abilities and energies.
The EGM also explained that the qualified infrastructure, logistical capabilities, levels of training cadres owned by the Office of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Hadhramout Valley and Desert made it a strategic partner for the implementation of these professional and training programs.
