Hadramout Languages Institute, affiliated with the Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development, held a ceremony to honor three of its teachers—Mr. Hussein Abdulwali, Ms. Afnan Busabaa, and Ms. Areej Baras—on the occasion of their attainment of the CELTA certificate from the British Council in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This achievement was made possible through a fully funded scholarship provided by the Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development.
This training comes as part of the Institute’s ongoing efforts to enhance the teaching performance of its staff and raise their competencies, with the goal of enriching the academic content offered to students and improving the quality of education.
During the ceremony, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, the Executive General Manager of the Foundation, praised the Foundation’s strategic vision, which aspires to position the Hadramout Languages Institute at the forefront of language institutes. He highlighted the efforts made to achieve this vision by providing the necessary resources for the Institute, including the recent launch of French language courses and ongoing discussions with the Chinese Embassy to initiate Chinese language courses.
Eng. Balkhasher also conveyed the greetings of the Chairman of the Board of Founders, Eng. Abdullah Bugshan, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Eng. Ahmed Bashawyeh, as well as all board members. He further revealed a future project to be implemented in partnership with Al-Awn Foundation for Development, aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of the Hadramout Languages Institute and upgrading its facilities to meet the latest standards in language education.
