Step 4: Career: This page is related to your professional career. Applicants need to have at least two years of professional experience to qualify for a Chevening Scholarship or Fellowship.
On this page, you must fill in your job data or volunteer opportunities. These include: Employer's name, Job title, Job start date, Number of work hours per week, and Total number of work weeks.
The following Jobs are accepted:
Part-time or full-time job.
Volunteer opportunities.
Paid and unpaid practical training whether during or after the study period.
Unacceptable Jobs:
Opportunities for hands-on training or jobs that are part of the student's study plan during study.
Applicants can add up to 10 different jobs in the electronic submission system to cover the minimum required practical experience. The system calculates this period by multiplying the number of working hours by the total number of weeks.
Therefore, the minimum working hours required is 2800 hours, which is equivalent to two years of practical experience.

Step 5: English Language Requirements: Applicants must complete the English language requirements of one of the following certificates:
Academic IELTS Test.
Cambridge English Test: Advanced Level.
Pearson PTE Academic Test.
Trinity Testing ISE: Level B2.
If you have a certificate, you can upload a copy of the certificate. If you have not yet submitted your exam or your certificate is expired, you can upload it later, but before the deadline set by the program committee.
