Researcher Mohammed Bajri participates in the Conference of the Shale Gas and Oil Technology in America
Researcher Mohammed Salem Bajri participated in two scientific research papers in the Shale Oil and Gas Technology Conference held in Denver, Colorado, USA, from July 21-26.
The research which was prepared by Bajri under the supervision of Dr. Flori was entitled:
Successful Implementation of High Viscosity Friction Reducers from Laboratory to Field Scale: Middle Bakken Case Study
Comprehensive Study of Elasticity and Shear-Viscosity Effects on Proppant Transport Using HFVRs on High-TDS Produced Water.
Bajri pointed out that the research dealt with the use of successful applications of a new type of hydraulic fracturing fluids to extract oil and gas from unconventional reservoirs rocks.
The researcher Mohammed Bagri explained that the research identified the possibility of using salty water as sea water in accordance with the high-viscosity hydraulic fracturing fluid with the factors that have the highest impact on the production properties of low permeability layers. He added that this contributed to increase the accuracy of work and speed in the preparation of development studies for unconventional oil reservoirs.
It is worth mentioning that the Conference of Shale Gas and Oil Technology is one of the conferences characterized by scientific sobriety and organizational durability, which is held every year at this time of the year and attended by tens of thousands of researchers and oil industry experts from all over the world, and nearly 300 scientific research papers concerned with the publication of the latest reached by the world oil and gas industry are presented.
