Seiyun Model Secondary School for Boys Wins First Place in the Arab Artificial Intelligence Olympiad

Students from Seiyun Model Secondary School for Boys secured first place in the Programming Track during the 2025 Arab Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, organized by the STEAM Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in collaboration with the Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Association.
Approximately 40 teams from across the Arab world participated in the Olympiad, including students from Seiyun and Mukalla Model Secondary Schools for Boys and Nawras National Model School in Aden.
Yemen’s participation in this event was coordinated directly with the Talented Youth Academy, the official entity authorized by the Ministry of Education to represent the country in various Arab and international Olympiads.
The model secondary school students competed in the Hall of Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development, under the supervision of Mr. Mohsin Baqutayan, Director of the General Education Department at the Foundation.
Following the announcement of the results, Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Bugshan, Chairman of the Board of Founders; Eng. Ahmed Salem Bashawyeh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; all members of the board; and the Executive Manager, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students who took part in the competition. They praised the outstanding efforts made by the educational staff of the model secondary schools in developing students’ skills in modern sciences and technologies.
