Strategic Partnership Between Hadhramout Foundation and AMIDEAST to Enhance Dialogue Between Yemeni and American Youth
In a step towards enhancing cultural and intellectual exchange between Yemeni and American youth, Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development and AMIDEAST announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership.
This announcement came during a visit by Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, the Executive General Manager of Hadhramout Foundation, to the United States, where he held a productive meeting with senior officials at AMIDEAST.
The partnership between the two institutions focuses on developing the Qisasna "Our Stories" program, an innovative initiative aimed at creating a mutual podcast between Yemeni and American students. Through this program, students will share their stories and life experiences, contributing to building bridges of understanding and friendship between the two cultures.
Eng. Balkhasher emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting cultural and knowledge exchange between Yemeni and American youth and expanding avenues of cooperation in education and training.
Ambassador Greta C. Holtz praised the efforts of Hadhramout Foundation, highlighting the significance of Qisasna "Our Stories" program in promoting mutual understanding between the Yemeni and American people.
Attending the meeting on behalf of the Hadhramout Foundation were Mr. Shane Rose, the Foundation's Director in North America, and Mr. Omar Bin Sumaida, the Foundation's representative to the United Nations. On behalf of AMIDEAST, the meeting was attended by retired Ambassador Greta C. Holtz, President and CEO, Mr. James Grabowski, Vice President of Regional Operations, and Ms. Heather Oliver, Director of Development.
