The conclusion of the training program in the manufacture of sweets and fast food and the entrepreneurship of small projects in Arrayda and Qusay'ir
Yesterday, Sunday, March 19, the activities of the training program for the manufacture of sweets and fast food and the entrepreneurship of small projects were concluded in the directorates of Arrayda and Qusay'ir, with the participation of 20 trainees of women and girls and heads of families, within the Life is Work Program in its 12th edition, funded and supervised by Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development and implemented by Imdad for Training and Rehabilitation Institute.
The Secretary-General of the Local Council in the Directorate of Arrayda and Qusay'ir Ahmed Al-Musti expressed their thanks to Hadhramout Foundation for its funding and follow-up to implement this training program in the Directorate by empowering the trainees professionally in the field of making sweets and fast food industries to be able to produce and market them to improve their livelihoods. He also expressed the readiness of the local authority in the directorate to provide the necessary facilities to enable the economic outcomes of this training program.
In his turn, the coordinator of Life is Work Program, Mr. Ala'a Bin Abdat, referred in his speech to the role of Hadhramout Foundation and its programs, through which it contributes to raising the capabilities of the most needy societal groups professionally to be able to face the current difficult living conditions that the country is going through.
Bin Abdat gave a brief explanation of how to take white loans from Al-Amal Bank for Microfinance, the payment mechanism, and the facilities provided in that, according to the effective partnership between the foundation and the bank in the economic empowerment of the program’s outcomes.
Further, the Director of the Institute, Mr. Sameh bin Bashir, gave an overview of the stages and activities that took place during the training period. In his speech, he also thanked the cooperation shown by the local authority in Arrayda and Qusay'ir and the role played by the Foundation in targeting the women's sector to be able to work and produce in order to achieve the productive families project in the district.
The program consultant, Eng. Salmeen Maseenon, also presented a project proposal for productive families, through which the continuity of small projects for the program's outcomes can be achieved. So that the local authority and civil society organizations in Arrayda and Qusay'ir participate in its implementation.
The closing ceremony witnessed the honoring of the trainees with certificates approved by the office of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Hadhramaut's coast, as well as honoring the trainers, the program coordinator, and the implementing agency.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Director of the Office of Commerce and Industry in the Directorate, Mr. Mohammad Saeed Al-Qaradi, the Director of the Agriculture Office, Mr. Mohammad Abboud Al-Jamahi, and a number of social figures and families of women's outcomes, as well.
