A Discussion of the PhD Thesis of the Researcher MunyaSalehBamatraf from Universiti Utara Malaysia

The scholarship student of Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development, the researcher MunyaSalehSaeedBamatraf, discussed her PhD thesis in the field of Application Ease of Use Engineering from Universiti Utara Malaysia, in which she received the distinction.

 

The graduation thesis deals with evaluating the ease of use of portable e-book applications for the visually impaired and the blind. It is used as a guide for e-book developers so that the application includes the most important features that would make the application easy to use and easy to learn. In addition to the most important point, which is the ease of access to it by the visually impaired, which ensures that they benefit from the e-book in the reading process using mobile devices.

 

The researcher Bamatraf is one of the faculty members at Hadhramout University, where the researcher participated in the 10th Knowledge Management International Conference (KMICe) 2021Ðu8226 as well as the 8th International Conference on Computing and Informatics (ICOCI) 2021.

During her studies, the researcher also participated in a research paper in the Journal of Telecommunication, Electronic, and Computer Engineering entitled "Modeling measurement metrics for E-book apps on mobile devices" in addition to her participation in the International Journal on Informatics Visualization (JOIV) entitled "Identifying the requirements of visually impaired users for accessible mobile e-book applications.”
