A scholarship student, Ali Al-Shateri, obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) with a specialization in Safety and Control in Industrial Processes.
In fact, the study discussed by researcher Al-Shateri presents the development and improvement of a technique known as the Unknown Input Observer (UIO) technique, which aids in the detection and diagnosis of errors before they reach critical levels.
Through the technology used, the faults resulting from the mathematical modeling and the external disturbances generated from the modeling and the actual values of the industrial process variables are isolated or filtered.
