Exploring Avenues of Cooperation and Renewing the Partnership between Hadhramout Foundation and the Ministry of Higher Education
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Ameen Al-Qudsi, met with the Executive General Manager of Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, to explore prospects for joint cooperation and to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and the Foundation in support of higher education in our country.
At the outset of the meeting, the Foundation’s Executive General Manager conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Chairman of the Board of Founders, Eng. Abdullah Bugshan, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Eng. Ahmed Bashaweih, to His Excellency the Minister on the occasion of gaining confidence and assuming his ministerial duties.
The meeting reviewed the strategic direction of Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development in the fields of education and scientific research, as well as ways to further strengthen its existing partnership with the Ministry.
Discussions also addressed the Foundation’s future expansion plans and its orientation toward establishing an effective partnership with the Academic Accreditation Council, with the aim of ensuring the quality of educational outcomes.
Minister Al-Qudsi commended the efforts of Eng. Abdullah Bugshan and his longstanding contributions to supporting the education sector, describing the Foundation’s presence and its support for higher education as a true driving force for the country’s future.
The Minister also highlighted his personal awareness of the Foundation’s pivotal role, noting his familiarity with many scholarship recipients who have excelled academically through the Foundation’s support.
Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing coordination meetings to further develop and refine areas of joint cooperation, ensuring alignment with the Ministry’s priorities and reinforcing the developmental role of Hadhramout Foundation in building qualified human capital.
