Minister of Education Meets Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development to Strengthen Strategic Partnership
His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Adel Al-Abbadi, received at his office in the interim capital, Aden, a delegation from Hadhramout Foundation – Human Development, headed by the Executive General Manager, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher, to discuss avenues for strengthening joint cooperation and advancing the education sector in the country.
At the outset of the meeting, Eng. Tareq Balkhasher conveyed the Foundation’s leadership’s congratulations to His Excellency the Minister on gaining the confidence of the political leadership, extending the greetings of the Chairman of the Board of Founders, Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Bugshan, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Eng. Ahmed Salem Bashaweih.
Eng. Balkhasher affirmed that the appointment of Dr. Al-Abbadi reflects a forward-looking vision that places qualified professionals in positions of decision-making, expressing optimism that the coming phase will witness a qualitative advancement in the trajectory of general education.
For his part, Dr. Adel Al-Abbadi commended the Foundation’s prominent developmental role in supporting education, expressing appreciation for the generous contributions of Eng. Abdullah Bugshan to the Ministry.
His Excellency further noted that the Ministry’s orientations align with the Foundation’s vision in adopting principles of governance and transparency as a fundamental pillar for advancing joint institutional work.
The meeting reviewed mechanisms to strengthen the strategic relationship between both parties and to enhance the quality and efficiency of general education at the national level.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Ministry by the Minister’s Private Secretary, Mr. Muhannad Abbad, and Ms. Nesreen. Representing the Foundation were the Director of General Education, Mr. Mohsin Baqutayan, the Foundation’s Representative in Aden, Dr. Ahmed Sameer, the Head of Media Department, Mr. Saleh Balsood, and the Coordinator at Hadhramout Languages Institute, Mr. Ali Balkhasher.
