The launch of the Alumni Club Job Fair, which included participation from 20 companies and facilities

The Alumni Club of Hadhramout Foundation-Human Development, in collaboration with the Local Authority of Hadhramout Governorate and in coordination with the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Coast, with the participation of 20 companies and commercial facilities, officially launched the second edition of the job fair this morning.

The Executive General Manager of Hadhramout Foundation-Human Development, Eng. Tareq Ali Balkhasher, welcomed the attendees at the beginning of the inauguration, which was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramout Governorate, Saleh AboudAlomqy, and the Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadhramout, Ahmed Badroos. He emphasized that the fair's goal was to establish a functional link between the private sector and those seeking job opportunities, as well as a good preparation for graduates and students with the necessary expertise and skills that the labor market demands.

Furthermore, Balkhasher, the Foundation's Executive General Manager, stated that the fair is an annual tradition put on by the Foundation to represent community service and that the Foundation is a tributary with the government side to reduce the phenomenon of unemployment by presenting more than 150 real job opportunities made available by the fair that applicants compete for. He also expressed his gratitude for the local authority's leadership, the social affairs office, the companies, and all who had contributed to this work.

The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramout, Alomqy, also stressed the importance of this fair in light of the high unemployment rates resulting from the economic consequences of the war that the country is going through, appreciating the role of the Hadhramout Foundation-Human Development in implementing such qualitative programs that touch the needs of society as an integrated role of the local authority and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

In turn, the Director General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor's Office in Hadhramout praised the private sector's role in providing job opportunities for young people, explaining the equality of rights between government and private sector employees under the law in force.

After the inauguration, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Hadhramout Governorate went on a tour, accompanied by the Executive General Manager, Balkhasher, who briefed him on the fair sections and the various jobs provided by the participating companies and facilities, before conducting personal interviews with the applicants, who numbered more than 400 after the filtration process, which was in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
