The participation of the fellowship student, Dr. Abdullah Bagahizel, as a speaker at the 10th International Conference of the High Institute of Public Health

The Egyptian fellowship student, Dr. Abdullah Mohammad Bagahizel, participated as a speaker in the 10th International Conference of the Higher Institute of Public Health, and he presented at the 10th international conference entitled "Telehealth" which was held from November 27–28, 2022, a research paper entitled "Telehealth & Continuous Medical Education: Yemen Experience with Tele-Ultrasound and POCUS Training," which aims to present the experience of "Telehealth Education" through a training program, which is considered the first remote health training program to be conducted in Yemen,specifically in Hadhramout Governorate.

Furthermore, the conference reviewed the results of the training indicators and the expected impact of them, as well as the challenges that were faced with reference to the necessity of limiting digital health programs and simulating distance education to keep pace with progress in the medical field.

In fact, the conference was held in the presence of a group of experts and those interested in public health from the Arab world, Africa, Europe, and America, as well as professors of faculties in Egyptian universities. During its sessions, the conference presented new visions of public health in the third millennium, and many aspects of the concept of telehealth, present and future, and its role in emergencies, as well as its advantages and disadvantages, were also addressed.

Additionally, the conference was organized by the Higher Institute of Public Health, in cooperation with the World Health Organization Eastern Mediterranean Office (WHO-EMRO) and Save the Children of the United Nations, under the auspices of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Health and Population, and Communications and Information Technology.

Besides, Dr. Bagahizel obtained a master's degree in public health and is a current trainee in the Higher Committee for Medical Specialties (Egyptian Fellowship)—Health Facilities Management.
